The Hedge Fund Group started out as an email-based networking group of just 100 hedge fund managers and consultants in 2007. One of these consultants, Richard Wilson, grew two educational websites to beyond 1 million pageviews of web traffic each quarter, and this in turn fueled the growth of the Hedge Fund Group to 10,000 members 2008 and now over 26,000 members in 2009.
